I had asked Steamatic to come out and give me a quote to address cleaning of my vents and for mold remediation in my... HVAC system. While they sent someone out pretty quickly to take a look, it's been 2 weeks and I still haven't received an estimate. I followed up several times and was just told that they were "slammed" and they would get back to me with a quote the next day. I'm pretty disappointed in the service because I had made it pretty clear that it was extremely important to me to have this completed as soon as possible.In contrast, I was able to find another company to send someone out to do the same job within a week. I would have much preferred them telling me they didn't have capacity to take on new customers at the time instead of being given the runaround for so long.read more

I've heard they do good work, but after calling about prices.... We have about 1600SF of home floors to be cleaned.... Hardwood in the living room, tile in the kitchen, basic carpet elsewhere. They wanted 3,000$ to clean these. I can literally replace the entire flooring for that cost. 250$ just to clean a couch. Sorry, I'll go elsewhere. That is insane prices. UPDATE: I did change my one star, to a three star based on the fact they actually responded, which is always good. But I think people should understand that when you charge 1.75$ per square foot to clean floors you can buy for 2.50$ that is just bonkers. So yes, a fairly small 3 BR home with a total of 1600SF is 3,000 before they even get to cleaning the couch. I'm sorry, this is four times what the competition is charging. While your company may be good, competition is too. So let me be clear, Steamatic may be good cleaners, but you would be wise to look into it.read more
